Throughout our history, our singular desire has been to create outstanding homes and communities. Along the way, this dedication to excellence has earned us widespread recognition as an industry leader known for quality construction, thorough planning, and a steadfast commitment to our customers.

Since its inception, Timberlake Homes has remained a privately held homebuilding company and has been responsible for the development and construction of single-family residences and luxury townhomes for thousands of homebuyers in Maryland and Delaware.

Our success through attention to detail, careful consideration of our homebuyers’ needs, and strength in operating as a team has given Timberlake the opportunity to grow, both in services offered and in new markets in which we build. Timberlake Design/Build was founded in 2002 and specializes in large-scale luxury home renovations, building one of our home designs on a customer’s homesite as well as undertaking custom home construction.

John Minzer

John H. Minzer

Chief Executive Officer

John Minzer serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Timberlake Homes, B.T., while simultaneously serving as the Managing Partner and/or Member of numerous additional corporations, including Timberlake Design/Build.

John has been actively involved in residential and commercial construction and land development for over 50 years. He has been involved in numerous home development projects throughout Maryland and Delaware and has performed virtually every task associated with the process of new home construction since his start with Timberlake in the mid-1970s. John currently oversees and coordinates every aspect of the day-to-day management of Timberlake Homes and Timberlake Design/Build, including all banking activities, marketing and sales, selection of land (both for development and as finished lots), and negotiations with trade partners and suppliers.

Over the years, John has participated in numerous seminars and workshops throughout the country relating to management, marketing, and production in the home building industry. He is currently licensed with the Maryland Home Improvement Commission as a Contractor/Salesman in the State of Maryland.

Jason Minzer


As President of Timberlake Homes, Jason Minzer leads the strategic direction of the organization. Since joining the Timberlake team in 2009, he has brought expert insight and recommendations on construction planning, scheduling, budgeting, and technology.  His efforts have significantly contributed to Timberlake’s expansion into new product types, improved build cycles and quality—helping grow the company and continuing to provide excellent customer service. On behalf of Timberlake Homes, Jason is a member of Builder Partnerships, a group comprised of similarly sized builders across the country.

Prior to joining Timberlake, Jason worked for Denison Landscaping as Project Manager in their home building division.  This role laid the foundation for his start as a Site Manager at Timberlake Homes. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Management from the Perdue School of Business.

Chief Operating Officer

Greg joined Timberlake Homes in 2001 as Director of Land Development ultimately becoming Chief Operating Officer. Greg oversees and is responsible for community development and construction from initial land purchase to the completion of each community and includes all aspects of house construction. Prior to joining Timberlake Homes, Greg spent 18 years in the land development planning and engineering community at various engineering companies working in various jurisdictions. With a strong foundation in planning, engineering and project management, Greg successfully manages the development and building operations of Timberlake Homes and Timberlake Design/Build.

Dave Lunden

Division President - Design/Build

As President of Timberlake Design/Build, Dave oversees and directs the overall operations of Timberlake’s Design/Build division. He joined the Timberlake team in 2003 after a successful, 15-year legal career. Dave is very active in the building industry having served on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Building industry Association (MBIA) as well as on many of its committees. He was the 2016 President of the MBIA, and is currently a Life Director. In addition to those duties, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Home Builders Care Foundation, the charitable arm of the MBIA and is also a member of the Board of Directors of Christmas in April, Prince George’s County. Dave is also a member of the Annapolis Rotary Club. When Dave has free time, he enjoys spending it with his family, running, and watching Boston Red Sox and Maryland football games.

Brian Messineo

Brian Messineo

Vice President of Land Acquisition

Brian joined Timberlake Homes in 2014 as Vice President of Land Acquisition. With 12 years of experience in land acquisition in the residential real estate sector, Brian has developed a diverse background across a wide range of platforms garnered while working with two of the top 10 national homebuilding companies in the country. His responsibilities include new deal sourcing and acquisitions, preparation and coordination of land development feasibility studies and budgets, contract negotiations, and coordination of land approvals/entitlements. A graduate of the University of Maryland, University College, Brian is an active board member with the Anne Arundel County Chapter of the Maryland Building Industry Association (MBIA).

Adam Minzer

Vice President of Land Development

Adam Minzer has watched his family build houses his entire life. His appreciation for creating communities and building homes is deep in his roots. For the past five years, Adam worked directly with Timberlake homeowners, constructing homes in various Maryland communities. During this time, Adam worked closely with Timberlake’s production team to effectively manage the timely and accurate construction of homes for purchasers while providing the highest quality product possible. He worked daily with the various trade partners involved in the house construction process to expand his knowledge beyond the average superintendent. Most notably, his customer service, management skills, and attention to detail enabled him to successfully oversee, complete and settle houses on time. Adam now manages newly acquired raw projects in Maryland and Delaware, turning them into ready-to-build subdivisions.

In his spare time, Adam enjoys anything with an engine and is motorsports related. He loves to fabricate and drift cars around the track competitively and for fun.

Jonathan Tepper

Vice President of Sales

Jonathan joins the Timberlake team full-time in 2020, after serving as a consultant since 2015. He is responsible for the overall sales and marketing efforts of both Timberlake Production and Timberlake Design Build operations.

Jonathan has 30+ years of experience with national homebuilders, leading their efforts in land development, sales, and marketing strategies for the mid-Atlantic region.

Jonathan has been active in the building industry, serving for many years on the Sales & Marketing Judging Committee of the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association (NVBIA) GALA Awards. He is currently a member of the Sales & Marketing committee of the Maryland Building Industry Association (MBIA).

In addition to those duties, he serves on the Board of Directors of ArtStream, which provides artistic classes, workshops, and performing opportunities to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs). He is also a Special Olympics Basketball coach. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys all sports activities and is a long-time Washington Caps 365 fan.

Justin Shepherd

Vice President of Purchasing & Estimating

Justin Shepherd has worked with Timberlake for over 14 years. In his most recent role, Justin manages the firm’s purchasing processes related to construction services and building material supply, including vendor solicitation and prequalification, contract bidding, negotiation, and award, as well as vendor performance, management, and feedback/monitoring. Justin leads the Purchasing and Estimating division staff on all projects for both the Production and Design/Build Divisions, including oversight throughout the entire duration of a project from negotiation and initial contract administration to project closeout. As a Vice President, Justin will continue playing an important role in the company’s strategic growth.

Kathy Pritchard

Design/Build Sales Manager

Excelling at helping customers navigate the home buying process has been Kathy’s life’s work for the past 36 years. She feels there is no greater reward than working with an individual or family to assist them in finding the home and home site that meets their needs and filling it with the items that make it uniquely theirs. She has put together hundreds of homeowners with the homes they desire and has been nominated and won numerous industry awards along the way.

Regina Davis

Design/Build Sales Manager

Regina Davis has a 25+ year career in Real Estate/Construction industry. She worked many years as an interior decorator and alongside her spouse in their concrete business. As a Realtor she found that she enjoyed helping clients who were building vs those seeking an already built home more, and choose to follow that path for the last 10 years. She understands that every buyer has different desires & needs, and that building your new home is a very personal decision that requires a skilled communicator who not only listens to you but hears you. She is honored to being a part of every client’s story and works hard to ensure that it is an uplifting, positive one that you will love to share and remember over the years.

Regina was blessed in life to raise three amazing sons and has been rewarded for it with three equally amazing Grandsons! When she isn’t working she is enjoying every moment and activity that goes with being their Grammie.

Design/Build Sales Manager

Ed began his new home career in the 1990s and has gleaned an expertise in the building industry that only comes from first-hand experience. “It’s a special moment when you blend the perfect homesite with the perfect house that will become the perfect home for your client.” Ed’s passion is seeking a big smile when he hands over the keys to someone’s dream home. “It all begins by listening to someone’s needs, wants, and desires…then you get a chance to fulfill that dream for them.” The new home industry has taken him around the country lending his expertise in new homes and financing to new home builders and developers. This is more than just a career for Ed…it’s his passion.

Diana Savitz

New Home Sales Manager

With 30 years of Real Estate experience, Diana is passionate about new construction and has an unshakeable drive to help her customers achieve building their new home.  Diana understands that Real Estate is a powerful thing.  Where you live becomes your home base, a place to gather, entertain, create wonderful memories, and just kick back and relax. 

Diana takes pride in getting to know her customers on their journey to building their new home.  She notes that she is community and family focused, genuine, patient, and reliable.  Her customers become an extension of her family.  After all, “we are working together towards one of your largest purchases and I want you to feel confident that I will be there to help every step of the way.”  

When Diana is away from work, she cherishes the time spent with family, especially her grandson.  Advocating for Cystic Fibrosis and spreading awareness is extremely important.  The beach, artwork, BBQing and just relaxing are a few of her favorite things that help rejuvenate her.

Diana Gaines

New Home Sales Manager

Diana Gaines began her real estate career in the early 2000s. She has over 35 years of sales experience with a concentration on customer service. Diana understands purchasing a home is a life changing decision; it gives her great joy walking her clients through the entire process and her dedication and success has helped her to receive numerous industry achievement awards. Being an advocate animal lover Diana devotes her spare time in helping her furry friends.

Jhia Briscoe

Sales Manager

Jhia Briscoe began her career in the New Construction/Real Estate industry in 2015. As a self-proclaimed “natural,” she enjoys customizing each encounter with her clients and takes pride in ensuring that everyone has a great experience. She was coined the name “Jovial Jhia” by previous management many years ago due to her bubbly personality and bright smile.

She has excelled in the industry and has been nominated and won several awards from the Maryland Building Industry Association which she is proud of. “Not only am I assisting you and your family with building and purchasing your dream home, I am also envisioning your lifestyle with you and your family for many years to come.”

Jhia is a dog lover and enjoys spending time with her family.

At Timberlake Homes, we stand behind every home we sell, which leaves you free to just enjoy being in your new home! On any given day, you will find members of our Executive Team in our communities and walking houses under construction or at the completion stage to make sure that we are delivering the best quality in the market. After all, if our homes don’t measure up to the high expectations of our homebuyers we are not doing our job. By insisting on quality construction methods and using premium products, our homes are not only beautiful to look at; they’re comfortable to live in, too. And since we want to make sure we are exceeding your expectations, Timberlake Homes offers a comprehensive pre-settlement home walkthrough and orientation program.

Prior to closing, you will participate in a Pre-Settlement Orientation session. This meeting has two primary purposes. The first is to confirm that we have delivered your new home at an acceptable level of quality, within industry standards, and with all of your selections correctly installed. Of equal importance, we demonstrate the features of your home and discuss maintenance and the warranty program we provide. During this meeting, the site manager will walk you through your home while referring to the “Buyer Acceptance Form” which includes a checklist of items to be inspected and explained. Additionally, warranty procedures will be explained to you and various items will be demonstrated and/or pointed out to you for further clarification.

Customer Service

Our ultimate goal is to deliver a beautiful home with 100% customer satisfaction and “zero defects” upon settlement.

Since our inception in the early 1960s, we have developed a reputation as a “Company Built on Integrity and Backed with Pride.” Our professional and experienced team brings uncompromising service and individual care and concern to every homeowner relationship we develop. In support of our commitment to total customer satisfaction, Timberlake Homes is proud to provide to you, through 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty, a one-year limited warranty on your basic home, a two-year limited warranty on mechanical systems, and a ten-year limited warranty against major structural defects. We provide each purchaser with a copy of the “Sample Warranty” upon contract which explains the warranties in detail.

At settlement, you will be given a “Homeowner’s Maintenance Manual,” which will help guide you through the care and upkeep of the many components of your new home. Following settlement, you will receive your official Warranty Documents from 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty. We invite you to review the criteria for qualifying warranty repairs, reporting procedures, and warranty service processing procedures with your sales representative.
